The Cilento is situated in the Province Salerno (Campania, Southern Italy) - between Agropoli, Sapri and Vallo di Diano, near the reagion of Calabria, Naples and Pompei. |

The coast is about 100 km long, quite rocky and features many bays and sandy beaches. It is bordered by mountains of 2,000 m height completing the picture with evergreen olive trees and the cobalt blue sea. |
